Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Pinay Partner collects, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to all members worldwide and is designed to comply with the EU GDPR, the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, and applicable US state privacy laws.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, date of birth, gender, country, and password (stored hashed — we can never read it).
  • Profile data you choose to share: photos, bio, location, physical attributes, education, religion, occupation, languages, and relationship preferences.
  • Verification videos: female members record a short selfie video to verify their identity. These are stored privately, reviewed by our moderation team, and shown only to eligible members according to plan settings. Because a face recording can be considered biometric-adjacent data, we collect it only with your explicit action and consent at recording time.
  • Messages and activity: chats, interests, favourites, profile views, and report/block actions.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We store only your subscription status, plan, and Stripe customer reference — never card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, and log data used for security and fraud prevention.

2. How we use it

  • To operate the service: profiles, matching, chat, and subscriptions.
  • To keep the community safe: automated image screening, scam-pattern detection in messages, verification review, and enforcement of our terms.
  • To process payments and manage renewals and cancellations.
  • To respond to support requests and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos, videos, or messages for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only service providers that operate the platform on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider. Each processes data under contract and only on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

4. Retention

Your data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, verification videos, and messages are removed from active systems within 30 days; limited records (e.g. payment history, ban records) may be retained where the law requires or to prevent banned users from returning.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app (profile editor, photo manager, account deletion), or by emailing privacy@pinaypartner.com. EU/EEA members may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority; Philippine members may contact the National Privacy Commission.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: session cookies that keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data deletion requests

To delete your account and associated data, use the account settings in the app or email privacy@pinaypartner.com from your registered address. If you signed up using Facebook or Google, the same process applies.
